Editor: The draft translates the term as “community care,” but the report distinguishes unpaid family support from funded local services. Translator: A shorter phrase reads naturally, yet it could make those systems sound interchangeable. Reviewer: We could say “care provided by relatives” in the first section, then introduce the official term for services funded by the council. That is longer, but readers can see who provides each kind of support. Editor: Could a brief note help without interrupting the article? Translator: Yes, if we explain the distinction once and use the same terms consistently afterward. Reviewer: We should also test the wording with readers who are unfamiliar with policy language. A technically exact label is not useful if its role remains unclear. Editor: Then revise the first reference, add the note, and check the rest of the report for consistency.
